JOB DESCRIPTION
Chapter 12 is a Wine Bar located in the busy High Street in Hailsham, East Sussex – the largest market town in Wealden (Close to Eastbourne and the South Downs National Park).
Their aim was to provide a comfortable and relaxing environment for patrons to enjoy quality wines and snacks – ideal as a meeting place for friends or business colleagues to get together.
TAYLOR CONSTRUCTION’S ROLE
Taylor Construction were tasked with converting the old office space above the current premises to a large function room, kitchen, VIP Area, male & female toilets, offices, staff toilets, kitchen and Kitchen Store.
In all the work took 4 months to complete and included a number of obstacles to overcome. There were building regulations to adhere to that stipulated the original character of the building must be maintained coupled with the requirement for a mezzanine area.
The internal renovations included a beautiful bespoke bar and specialist lighting.
In addition to the internal works, a new three face power system was fitted to the property and outside repairs were also included in the conversion.
The final result is a stunning wine bar with fantastic ambience and most importantly, happy customers.
