JOB DESCRIPTION
Following continued growth and expansion, independent plumbing merchants Sussex Plumbing Supplies decided to open a flagship Luxury Bathroom and Designer Heating showroom in the newly constructed Chaucer Business Park in Polegate. Not only was this going to be spread over two floors, it was to also become their new head office, relocating them from their original offices above the Eastbourne trade counter.
TAYLOR CONSTRUCTION’S ROLE
Following the success of the Bexhill Showroom renovation, Taylor Construction were tasked the entire internal showroom build, office build, full decoration and complete fitting of each individual bathroom and heating display.
The head office area consisted of an open plan working area, board room, kitchen facilities, relaxed seating area as well as individual offices, all with floor to ceiling glazing.
Staff and customer toilets were installed along with a separate easy access toilet.
Throughout the Luxury Bathrooms department on the lower floor, every display was installed with the same care and attention as would be taken with a regular residential fitting. A number of the installation were joined to the mains water for ‘live’ demonstrations

- Glazed Tiling
- Decoration
- Specialist Flooring
The outcome was fantastic. A showroom that we are all extremely proud of and has been greatly received by the public.
